Cooperation Programme Interreg VA Italy-Malta is part of the Cohesion Policy and contributes to the European Union Strategy 2020 for smart, sustainable, and inclusive growth and to the achievement of economic, social, and territorial cohesion

In the Programme Strategy 5 Thematic Objectives and 6 Investment Priorities have been selected in order to contribute to a smart and sustainable growth at cross-border level facilitating the specialization in R&I sectors, fostering the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises, protecting the environment and enhancing the actions to mitigate the climate change effects and the natural and anthropic risks of the area.
