The Executive Committee  acts under the responsibility of the Monitoring Committee for the selection of operations projects and to contribute to their good follow-up.

Current Executive Committee is composed of representatives of each country participating to the programme and carries out the following tasks. It:

• proposes to the Monitoring Committee, with the support of the Joint Secretariat, the criteria to be adopted for project selection, in order to aquire the Monitoring Committee’s definitive approval;
• elaborates the Guide for Implementation, with the support of the Joint Secretariat, which defines the modalities of presentation, instruction and monitoring;
• is responsible for the selection of the projects and shall avail itself of the operational support of the Joint Secretariat;
• is informed about the activities of the Managing, Certifying and Audit Authorities.
