The Call for Applications for the selection of 45 young people residing and/or domiciled in Sicily has been published under the project “MOVE ON 2027 – Skills development and human capital mobility in the Italy–Malta cross-border area”, funded by the Interreg VI-A Italy–Malta Programme 2021–2027.
The Call falls within Programme Priority 1 – A smarter cooperation area and addresses Specific Objective 1.2, aimed at developing skills for smart specialisation, industrial transition and entrepreneurship in the cross-border area.
The Call targets 45 unemployed or inactive young people, aged 18 to 30, holding a secondary school diploma. Selected participants will take part free of charge in:
a 60-hour online training programme, focusing on labour market trends and development strategies in Sicily and Malta, in line with the respective RIS3;
a 5-day cross-border mobility experience in Malta, including visits to companies, institutions and organisations operating in key sectors of the cooperation area.
Applications can be submitted from 1 February 2026, exclusively through an online procedure, until available places are filled and no later than 30 June 2026.
The Call is promoted by Ass.For.SEO as Lead Partner, in partnership with HERMES Corporation Ltd, and contributes to building a cross-border Italy–Malta network for skills development and human capital mobility.
