Shaping the future of Interreg beyond 2027

Interreg is an integral part of cohesion policy and at the same time presents strong specificities (cross-border dimension, specific objectives, greater attention to building trust and “people to people” projects, cooperation with third countries). It is therefore essential that the Interreg community, including citizens and stakeholders, participate in a debate that will impact its future. To this end, the Directorate General for Regional and Urban Policy (DG REGIO) of the European Commission is launching a consultation process to collect opinions/comments/suggestions on the form that Interreg should take in the next multiannual financial framework.

The Sicilian Region, in its role as Management Authority of the Interreg Next Italia Tunisia and Interreg VI A Italia Malta programmes, invites you to participate in the debate. To this end, we warmly appreciate your cooperation by consulting the questionnaire published at the following link: https://ec.europa.eu/eusurvey/runner/Consultafter27_IT_TN_MT?surveylanguage=EN.

We would appreciate it if you could complete the survey no later than July 10, 2024
